The professional path: certify, then license
Coaches, consultants, HR teams, educators and team leads use the ICA to give people a shared language for how they think, feel and act. Certify once for $1,998, then license yearly for $998.
The path in four steps
- Take the free ICA yourself. About 15 minutes. Know the experience your clients will have.
- Certify, once. $1,998: six core modules, the 90-minute advanced module, a 60-question examination and a verifiable certificate. Your practitioner dashboard unlocks.
- License to practice, yearly. $998 a year: use the ICA with paying clients, teams and organizations, and appear in the practitioner directory.
- Practice. Clients take the ICA on their own device and send you their results, which appear on your dashboard.

How the price compares
Certifications for established workplace assessments that publish a price cost about $3,000 to $5,000 once, and most vendors then charge per assessment. The ICA has no per-assessment fee: the test is free. See the certification cost comparison for sources and dates.
Renewal, in plain terms
- The Practitioner License is $998 a year and renews automatically until you cancel; you agree to the renewal separately at checkout.
- ANTHRL emails a reminder about 30 days before each renewal, with the amount and how to cancel.
- If the price changes, you are told at least 7 days before it applies to your renewal.
- Cancel at any time; your license runs to the end of the paid year, and your certification stays yours.
What the credentials are
Certification is a private credential, and the licenses are commercial-use licenses. None of them is a government or state license, and none authorizes anyone to provide psychological services.
