Certification is only the first cost

Most publishers then charge for each assessment or for a platform subscription. For example, Everything DiSC Workplace profiles are listed at $90 each, with credits from $6.00 down to $4.90 at volume (DiSCProfile pricing, effective 1 July 2024). Predictive Index sells an annual platform; its plans "start at $10,000 per year" (Predictive Index, checked 3 November 2026).

How the ICA is priced differently

  • Certification is $1,998, once, and does not expire.
  • The ICA Practitioner License is $998 a year and lets you use the ICA with paying clients.
  • There is no per-assessment fee: the ICA itself is free for everyone.
  • Prices rise 10% a year. All prices.

In the first year, certification plus the license costs $2,996. After that, the cost is the yearly license, whatever the number of clients.

What the prices do not tell you

Price is not evidence. The established assessments above have far larger research bases than the ICA, whose accuracy is currently being studied. Weigh cost alongside evidence, using the buying questions.

Trademarks

MBTI and Myers-Briggs are trademarks of the Myers & Briggs Foundation. Everything DiSC is a trademark of John Wiley & Sons. CliftonStrengths is a trademark of Gallup, Inc. Hogan, Birkman and Predictive Index are trademarks of their owners. ANTHRL is not affiliated with any of them.

Questions

Why is the ICA cheaper to certify in?

It is self-paced and online, and the ICA has no per-assessment fee. It also has a much smaller evidence base so far.
